Priorities
The foundation of all our activities is our Recommendation for business leaders, launched in 2012. Furthermore, the Time to Transform 2030 program covers all key activities of BCSDH and is embedded in BCSDH’s strategy, Action 2020. Furthermore, we have incorporated WBCSD’s Vision 2050 into our work.
- Through its working groups – Race to Zero, ESG, Circular Economy, Social Capital, and Communication – BCSDH aims to support and encourage its members to operate sustainably and contribute to system-level changes.
- In 2014, the BCSDH launched the Future Leaders Talent Program which is the Hungarian adaptation of the WBCSD Future Leaders Program. This is highly recognized by participants and member companies. 300 young leaders have already graduated and will become Alumni by 2022.
- BCSDH also established the ‘For a Sustainable Future’ Awards in 2017 in three categories (Business Solutions, Change Leaders, and Leading Women) with the aim of recognizing and disseminating to a wide audience the achievements of leaders and companies in the field of sustainability.
- The Circular Economy Platform was established in 2018 by BCSDH, the Dutch Embassy, and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology to accelerate changes with collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices.
- The Net Zero Advisory Board was formed in a uniquely broad collaboration with leading experts, policy makers, institutions and companies to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy in Hungary by 2050.
