November 19 is World Toilet Day. It may sound like a joke, but in many parts of the world, this is a serious issue. One third of the world’s population lacks access to a safe toilet.
At the WBCSD, we believe that everyone has the right to clean water, a safe toilet and good hygiene practices at the workplace, in any location. This is why we created the WASH at the workplace Pledge.
Please take a few minutes to listen to what our WASH Pledge champions Paul Bulcke (CEO, Nestlé), Tom Albanese (CEO, Vedanta Resources), Nick Blazquez (President for Africa and Asia Pacific, Diageo) and Paul Polman (CEO, Unilever and Chairman, WBCSD) have to say about why your company should sign and implement this Pledge.
