Geneva, 21 October: The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) launches the nomination process for two educational programs, designed for business leaders to navigate transformational times and contribute to a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the pandemic.
Curriculums are developed with leading academic institutions and our forward-thinking member companies, offering cutting-edge insights, peer-to-peer exchange, and experiential learning to help participants understand and apply complex sustainability concepts in the business context. WBCSD Leadership Program
100% of participants recommend the Leadership Program.
It helps representatives from companies gain an in-depth understanding of sustainable development challenges and the opportunities that feed into strategic business decision-making. As the world continues to change, sustainable businesses will grow to be the most successful. Therefore, it’s critical for the next generation of leaders to understand the importance of sustainability and integrate related challenges and opportunities into their core business strategy.
To nominate your rising stars who are up for the challenge of this intense, demanding and rewarding Leadership Program - please send your nomination(s) for the class of 2022 to Suzanne Feinmann by 10 January 2022.

Many studies show a correlation between companies with a greater proportion of women in senior decision-making positions and the delivery of better economic results for that company, as well as a greater focus on social and environmental issues.
Now is the time for business to commit to SDG 5, which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls by 2030. The LEAP project aims to accelerate this transition so that women succeed and contribute meaningfully to sustainability initiatives both in the workplace and their communities.
To engage in our ambitious and rewarding LEAP Program, please send your nominations to Gabriela Uriarte by 27 February 2022.
