Geneva, Switzerland 24 04 2023 – The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) has welcomed NYK Line as its newest member.
NYK Line, a leading transportation company based in Tokyo, Japan, has regional headquarters in London, New York/New Jersey, Singapore and Shanghai and employs around 35,000 people globally. As a company operating in the environment, comprising water, land and air, NYK Line Group will benefit from its WBCSD membership by staying up-to-date with the latest sustainable business practices and actively sharing its perspectives on issues that lie at the core of WBCSD ‘s mandate to limit the impact of the climate crisis, restore nature and tackle inequality.
NYK Line’s new WBCSD membership is part of the company’s wider efforts to make a positive impact on society through its business operations.
